Personal data that we process

BTWPartners processes your personal data because you use our services, you are a relation of ours and/or because you provide it to us yourself. In addition to our customers, we also process personal data of leads, prospects, suppliers, relations, applicants and of course our own employees. In general, the provisions below also apply to the personal data that we process for these individuals. Deviating provisions for these persons are discussed below

– First and last name(s) – Sex – Date of birth – Place of birth – Nationality – Address details – Telephone number(s) – E-mail address(es) – Marital status – Financial details – Tax details – Bank account number(s) – Family composition  – Other personal data that you actively provide, for example, in a conversation, by e-mail, in correspondence and/or by telephone

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

BTWPartners processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data from you: – Trade union membership (if applicable) – Medical data (to a limited extent for income tax returns and tax advice) – Citizen service number (BSN) – Income and asset data – Personal data related to your company

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

BTWPartners processes your personal data for the following purposes: – To be able to call or e-mail you or otherwise correspond if this is necessary to perform our services. – BTWPartners also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so. – BTWPartners also processes personal data in order to give substance to the execution of an assignment issued by you.

Automated decision making

BTWPartners sometimes makes decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example, an employee of BTWPartners).

How long we store personal data BTWPartners does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Insofar as possible, we comply with requests for access to, change or deletion of personal data. The deletion of personal data is a right under the AVG, but we are dealing with legislation with regard to data retention and that legislation takes precedence. The legal retention period is 7 years.

Who has access to the personal data? We ensure that only our employees have access to the personal data. The exception to this are any sub-processors. We limit access by our employees, where possible, to those data that are necessary for their work. We also ensure that the employees who have access to the personal data have received correct and complete instructions on how to handle personal data and that they are familiar with the responsibilities and legal obligations.

Sharing personal data with third parties

BTWPartners does not sell your information to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. BTWPartners remains responsible for these processing operations.

BTWPartners only uses technical and functional cookies as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. We can also use this to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view your personal data, have it corrected or have it removed. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by BTWPartners and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@hermanns-accountants.nl.

To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks.

How we secure personal data

BTWPartners takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes.
